Systems Integration

SOS are Graphic Arts solution providers. We have our own technical consultant that will specify and install all your electronic pre-press equipment from servers and network infrastructure to installation of Macintosh computers and software. Our specialist is qualified and has a working knowledge of all the major pre-press workflows on the market. Furthermore, we can install and calibrate your print and proofing system. Our aim is to cater for all your requirements so that we are on hand whenever you need us, whatever the issue.

Feel free to talk to us about any technical issues or problems you may have including your backup needs, FTP requirements etc – we will endeavour to provide you with the best possible solution.

Any solution provided by SOS will be installed by us and as a result, initial contact for technical support will be with SOS. In the vast majority of cases, any hitches are resolved by us and on the odd occasion we are unable to provide the solution ourselves, we have a significant number of technical support partners who would be happy to assist you.

Diagnostics

SOS utilise the most up to date technology to provide our customers with an often immediate diagnostics service. As well as being able to talk to someone on the phone, we also use Web-Ex technology to control, diagnose and fix many problems via the internet without the need of an engineer onsite. What’s more is that providing you buy your consumables from us, this is included as a free service.

Colour Management

SOS offer an on-site calibration and profiling service where we will visit your premises and calibrate any output devices you have. This includes presses and proofers. This often involves an inspection of the proofer to ensure that it is printing to its optimum level. For further information, please see our Colour Management section under Products & Services.
